Established in 1991, The Bright Group, Inc. has evolved in a dynamic, customer service-oriented organization. Michael Bright, founder and President of The Bright Group, Inc., started in the roofing industry in 1975. Having good “mentors” early in his career allowed him to grow within the industry from residential reroofing to becoming the National Accounts Manager for one of the premier single ply membrane manufacturers in the country. He has held the position as head of ASTM’s PVC Task Group for establishing the ASTM standard D4434 for PVC membranes. Through his position as National Accounts Manager, Michael has been involved I some of the largest singly ply roofing projects in the United States. He assisted the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Veterans Administration with the development of guide specifications for PVC roofing membranes that are standards today for specification development.
